Where would we have been in the 80s without John Hughes' great "teen" movies? Someone who totally understood us! My cousin (now 18 yrs old) is a huge fan of The Breakfast Club. Pretty in Pink and Sixteen Candles were a couple of my favorites! I wanted Jake to come find me on my 16th bday (or any other ;). Rest in Peace Mr. Hughes. Thank you for all those great movies.

How sad! "Breakfast Club" and "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" had such an impact on my teenage life.

John Hughes made a significant contribution to the "X" -generation. R.I.P.

I could so relate to Pretty in Pink - thank goodness we still have Cameron Crowe.

'The Breakfast Club' was on tv when I was growing up, I loved the movie. When I watched it again as an adult, it still hadn't lost it's magic. One of my favorite all time movies.

I'm not familiar with all the work of John Hughes, but knowing that we owe 'The Breakfast Club' to him is enough for me to realise what a wonderful talent he was.

May he rest in peace.
